Microneedling Aftercare Instructions
Hello Gorgeous ✨ We’re thrilled you chose us for your microneedling treatment! Your skin has just been through a workout, and now it needs a little downtime. Follow these aftercare instructions to heal beautifully and get the most out of your results.
No Makeup for 24–48 Hours
Give your skin breathing room. Makeup can clog your fresh micro-channels and cause irritation or even breakouts. Once the first couple of days pass, you can return to light, clean makeup if needed.
Use Only The Products We Provide at First
For the first 24–48 hours, stick strictly to the cleanser and serum we’ve given you. These are chosen to support healing and minimize irritation.
Skin Recovery Timeline
It’s completely normal for your skin to look red or feel tight, dry, or sensitive for up to 7 days. Think of it like a sunburn healing process. Don’t worry—it’s part of the journey to glowing results.
Gentle Skincare After 24–48 Hours
After the first couple of days, you may use mild cleansers (like Dove or Cetaphil) and lightweight moisturizers. Keep it simple and hydrating.
Sunscreen is a Must
Switch to a physical (mineral) sunscreen with zinc oxide or titanium dioxide while your skin is healing. Avoid chemical sunscreens for at least a week—they can sting and irritate freshly treated skin.
Avoid Active Ingredients
❌ DO NOT USE ANY glycolic acids, retinoids, salicylic acid, or other anti-aging/anti-acne products for at least 7 days. Your skin barrier needs time to recover before reintroducing strong actives.
Sweat & Heat
Skip saunas, hot tubs, and heavy workouts for the first 24 hours. Sweat and excess heat can cause irritation and slow healing.
Treatment Results
Most people need a series of 3–4 treatments, spaced 4–6 weeks apart, for best results. Improvements build over time, with full results often showing at 3–6 months as your skin’s collagen remodeling continues.
